Will Allen’s THE GOOD FOOD REVOLUTION goes to Gotham

MacArthur Fellow Will Allen, a former fast-food executive, bought a derelict two-acre plot in a struggling neighborhood in Milwaukee and built a pioneering urban farm that feeds thousands who otherwise would not have access to healthy food, demonstrating how  a relationship with the soil can heal broken communities and people.  His manifesto THE GOOD FOOD REVOLUTION, written with Charles Wilson, just sold in a lively seven-way auction to Lauren Marino at Gotham.  Time magazine named Will one of the 100 most influential people in the world this year in a list that included Bill Clinton, Steve Jobs, Conan O’Brien, Sonia Sotomayor, and Michael Pollan.
