Elizabeth’s PEEP LEAP (illustrated by John Bendall-Brunello) is about ten baby wood ducks who must leap from the nest all the way down to the pond – but baby number ten doesn’t want to leap. SMALL WALT (illustrated by Marc Rosenthal), a picture book in the tradition of The Little Engine That Could, is about a small snow plow determined to prove his worth in a blizzard.  SMALL WALT AND MO THE TOW, also illustrated by Marc Rosenthal, is a story of the little snow plow and a tow truck who become friends while they heroically rescue a car on an icy night. SMALL WALT SPOTS DOT, again illustrated by Marc Rosenthal,  has our smallest snowplow in the fleet rescuing a puppy in a snowstorm. BIKE AND TRIKE, illustrated by Brian Biggs, is a story of friendship and the pangs of growing up, with rusty old trike worried about the arrival of shiny new bike in the family garage.

Elizabeth also has several series of award-winning nonfiction board books for the very young, including “Best Behavior” and “Toddler Tools” (Free Spirit Publishing).

Praise for SMALL WALT

“The characters are appealing, and the language is active and satisfying, with plenty of onomatopoeia. Good luck saying RUGGAROOOM BRUMMAHUM 10 times fast, but your audience will enjoy hearing you try.” – The New York Times     "The smallest in a fleet of snowplows always gets picked last in a snowstorm, but [Walt] and his driver, Gus, show that teamwork and perseverance pay off."--Kirkus Reviews (starred)
"A heroic snowplow braves a blizzard in ...[this] picture book about persistence....[A] perfect book for revving up small helpers to pitch in with the shoveling."-- The Wall Street Journal
