Anthony Schmitz is the author of two novels — DARKEST DESIRE: The Wolf’s Own Tale (Ecco) and LOST SOULS (Available Press). He’s spent most of the past 30 years working for a variety of publications, ranging from a collectively-run news service for alternative papers to mainstream publications such as the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He also owned and operated the Frogtown Times, a newspaper in a neighborhood that is home to many of Minnesota’s new immigrants, and is an active participant in the affairs of the neighborhood.
