FRANKENSLIME is a picture book about a girl whose slime experiment goes awry when she accidentally creates a monster. While an obvious nod to movies like “Frankenstein” and “The Blob,” it also explores in a light-hearted way the scientific method and the importance of recording observations and results. The story is continued in VALENSLIME, when the girl experiments to make Valentine friends for her slime creation, yielding an explosion of little slimes.
MONSTER TRUCKS is a picture book about monsters and the vehicles that match their personalities, from the skeleton crew that fixes roads (no sweat, they’re only bones) to the werewolf who digs, digs, digs to the ogre who loves to pummel and wreck, and more.
Joy Keller isn’t a monster, but she does have experience driving trucks on a blueberry farm. She is an elementary school teacher and lives with her husband, two kids, and assorted pets.

PRAISE FOR MONSTER TRUCKS
"Debut author Keller gets plenty of mileage from the titular pun, playfully matching monsters to the appropriate truck." ―Publishers Weekly
